Summer Anime Season- Start!

The new Summer anime are coming out this week~

And Alya’s already picked out a greaat Thursday anime (we finally have one :’) ) called Glasslip. It’s adorable, and it’s a simple slice of life anime too. So refreshing after (mostly dark) stuff like Black Bullet, No Game No Life, and Brynhildr in Darkness, etc.

Glasslip

Now, I have to mention other anime too, before I move on to critique it properly, which I’ll probably do tomorrow. I’m lazyyy now ^_^;

Liiike, how I actually found us this anime, but it soo isn’t my cup of tea. Gore. Blood. Icky gruesome killing scenes. Scary eyes. Aaaand weird sexual pleasures out of killing people. O.o God help meh D: It’s Tokyo Ghoul, and I heard it’s story was amazing, so I told Alya to check it out. She watched it before I did, and fell in love with it. She’s gotten another one of her friends to watch it with her, so I don’t have to unless I really can stand tolerate it for that long. It’s thirteen episodes, so…maybe?

Tokyo Ghoul

Theeen there’s the one I’m reaaally looking forward to for Monday! Akame ga Kill! The one with the epic combinations of voice actors that I heard about in the end of May. I posted about it already, so links to the list of it’s cast as well as the summary of the story is available there~

Akame ga Kill

A cover form the manga, but you see the characters split up like this~

And that’s all for now!

So, to sum up my Anime weekly so far, it’s
Monday- Dragonar Academy, Akame ga Kill.
Tuesday- Nothing so far.
Wednesday- HxH(the next arc started ❤ ), Glasslip.
Thursday- Tokyo Ghoul (maybe?).
Friday- Nothing so far.
Saturday- Mahouka (koukou no Rettousei), Rail Wars, SAO II.
Sunday- Haikyuu.

I think. The anime calender site I use is telling me they come out on different days, but my anime site had them uploaded according to this, to the best of my time maths 😛

Weeell, whatever. I’m going to go watch some TV before going to sleep now. Phew, I’m beat!

Quotes and Stuff from Yu-Gi-Oh! the Abridged Series

One of the most hilarious things ever. And here are a few pictures, jokes, and quotes from the series.

*Miiiind Cruuush*

This one picture summarizes these characters so well.

Bandit Keith’s Catch Phrase that make total sense.

I love the scene where Bandit Keith is telling his three henchmen to get lost and get off Duel Kingdom Island. He does so by saying to get out of America. And when they respond with the logical ‘this isn’t America’, he replies with “All countries belong to America!”. “…So how are we supposed to leave then?” “I don’t know!”

Joey’s trying reaaally hard to make it his thing.

Main character- he can get away with anything. When he cheats, he doesn’t.

Recall Bakura’s sad, sad past.

One does not simply forget the trauma of their father pouring boiling tea over one’s mother and asking “Why so British?!!” repeatedly.

Episode One- It lacked a lotta logic.

I gotta say…that’s a creepy smile, Kaiba O.o

Pew pew.

Suuuure.

And yet Bakura and Marak are constantly shipped together both in fan fictions and in this series. They are both characters portrayed to be gay-

As you can clearly see, Bakura isn’t very fond with admitting to it. He likes his British excuse.

I’m sure this is what it’s going to be like when I finally go back to watching the actual Yu-Gi-Oh! soon enough.

My sentiments exactly. And my face exactly too. Never would I have thought I’d have the same expression as the all handsome Duke Devlin =| =/ =P

Aaaand now I’m off to watch some more of the series :3

Go watch it 😀 Well, before I watched it on that other site I mentioned before, but it didn’t have any episodes after 35. I couldn’t find any, at least. So I started watching it on dailymotion.com. They’re available there, albeit with French Subs for some reason =P

But there nonetheless and funnyyy~

So now I poof to go watch it =)

Laterrr~

A Long Break, and a Hilarious Dub

So I have a break in my CIEs. A loooong break. A twenty day long break, to be exact. And after which, I have my Physics practical. A day break, and then my Chemistry one. After which I have something around six days, then my Chemistry MCQs, another day gap, then lastly and finally, my Physics MCQs.

Haah, the papers with all the writing are overrr! There’s no more Maths ( =( ), and there’s no more theorieessss~!

Moving on…

I found something hilarious yesterday. As you know, I’ve been wathing Yu-Gi-Oh! for the first time. And I remembered earlier in the school year, Zara and I were discussing it. She mentioned watching an abridged of it. And I recalled this last night, at around one am, after I forced Que to watch three episodes of No Game No Life. (He fell in love with it, evidently.) That’s how  I found the Yugioh Abridged series by LittleKurioboh. And it’s damn hilaaaarious~!

Must watch for anyone that’s scene Yu-Gi-Oh!

Although it’s really tough to find all the videos on youtube, since apparently LittleKuriboh got banned or something, and all the playlists of the series were deleted/the videos were deleted/removed. So I googled it, and found a site with the complete videos on them! There’s this one too, but the order of the vids all jumbled up, as far as I can tell.

If you ever wanted to know why Yugi’s such a hobbit, why Tristen’s in this show in the first place, and what is up with Joey’s accent, you should totally watch this. It also explains why there are but only two female characters in the entire show, plus, why Mai can never beat Joey. Who is Taya gonna end up falling for? Why is Bokura a British prick? And much muuuch more!

Now I guess I’ll recycle my sexy transformation sequence!

Ze Aluminium Analogy

This is Chemistry Philosophy at its finest. Well, perhaps not finest, but it is it nonetheless.

But first, a bit of a background story. This was my instant thought when Sir Shaheer mentioned Aluminium and its Aluminium Oxide layer to us concerning the physical appearance of Al.

But first, a bit of Chemistry 101. Otherwise the brilliance of this analogy won’t be recognized. First, Aluminium is a metal. Basic knowledge, that is. And as a metal, you expect it to be shiny, which it is. Its a shiny silver metal that has luster. But due to Aluminium’s reactivity, it reacts with oxygen present in the air. The product to this is called Aluminium Oxide, Al2O3, and it forms a grey layer on top of all exposed surfaces of the shiny metal. So now there’s a shiny silver metal, with a coat of grey on top of it, encasing it. So, when aluminium reacts with oxygen, it looses it’s initial luster. Make sense so far? Great. If not, go reread it or google it.

Aluminium’s soft, the lab type, and you can slice it with a knife. If you do, you expose the inner shiny metal. The positive (speaking in terms of how the luster represents hope, naivety, pureness. Positive is not in terms of ions here… =P )aluminium, when exposed to the the world, to reality, to the cruelness and harshness of the world, is over powered by it, and soon, very very soon, it looses that luster, and loses that hope. It becomes grey eventually, and inevitably, just as the aluminium on the original outside was. It became just as grey and dull and non-porous as the aluminium (that reacted to form the outer aluminium oxide layer) before it.

*Pssshhheewwww~*
The sound of your mind being blown right now.

Dat Philosophy.

Thank you, and good night~

(Not so Much) Poetry Insipired by Sickitude

So i was planning out a sick song in my head just now, and thought- hey, i should record it, and just post it here.

as future me can recall quite vividly, im sure, and if not, this account should shed some light on the memories that i get quite a bit, well, wonky when sick.

like willy wonka wonky. (HA HA. arent i funneh?)

anyhoo, im lamer than usual (i typoed lamer as lamber and i was seriously considering leaving it like that for a second and then making a bad pun about going for the lion rather than the lamb. yes, i had a pll marathon yesterday, duuh.) and weirder and crazier and make NO SENSE AT ALL.

but rather than reminece about such stories of the past where i have embarrassed myself expertly and proffesionally, lets sing out that sick song now shall we?

wait. i cant sing. (no, not just cant cant, but i reallyyyy cant cant cant. i has a throat infection.) so i will now write a sick poem.

i forgot. damn. oh well. lets start from scratch…in a bit. i feel dizzy. so im going to minimize this, lie down for a bit then get back to it later. and yeah, im THAT sick, im getting woozy. and my eyes are tearing up…

gosh,  i hate being sick -__________-

around four and a half hours (i read HP and the Half-Blood Prince, i slept, i was on fb, i slept some more, moaned, complained, froze and shivered, sweat and turned on the ac, then read just a taaad bit more. and watched Night at the Museum for the second time since its RELEASE. wohoo!) i am exhasted, sleepy, and feel like puking. and like theres a knife being twisted in my gut. i hate being sick =/

yeah, i think i reaaaallllyyyy need to get to sleep now. i just temporarily (2 and a half seconds, dammit!) forgot how to spell nife. i mean, knife. crap. i just did it again.

yeeaah, so i need sleep now. ‘night.

Ze Sick Ze,
-Ze

haha. repetition is funny. no? nevermind. i am lamer than usual. especially since im sick aaand sleep deprived/had too much sleep (sixteen hours. no wonder im still up in the ams.). so yeah. sleep. i covet it dearly.
