My Adventure on Foreign Soil!

I’m making it sound more epic than it actually is. Hey, embassies are considered the soil of the country they belong to, so I’m technically correct. Geez, it needs a touch of dramatic flare, is all.

It was QUICK. They newly introduced an actual appointment system, with ticket numbers like at a fast food place, and it’s so much more efficient and less messy than before. Five years ago, it was on a first come first served basis, and it sucked. I’d have to miss school and stay at the embassy for around six hours just for a ten minute interview, and a few signatures.

We were out of there in an HOUR. And it only took us that long too because the cashier wasn’t in at the time, so we had to wait a bit. Plus, other people were still showing up. I love hour our stereotypical Desi un-punctuality is even influencing an embassy of a foreign nation ❤ It brings a tear to my “dual” national eye :’)

While the first dude was checking out our application for my passport renewal, he was fiddling with the date stamp, and after a while finally stamped 28 July 2014 onto the form. It’s June, bro. My dad politely asked why he’d stamped July, and then realizing his error, fixed it. He also forgot which ink to sign at the bottom of the form in, so it was fixed up professionally with half a black signature that had been finished and rewritten in red ink. Poor guy must’ve been reaaally sleepy, really off his game, or just plain ol’ clumsy. Who knows.

The second dude that conducted my interview (they didn’t have me take a proper oath, but I still had to promise that I hadn’t lied on the forms, with my right hand raised. I hope that’s the closest I ever get to a proper oath too 😛 ) was a gora guy, and he was pretty great at what he was doing with the questions, and answering those my dad asked too.

There was also a stop between these two guys, which was stopping and paying the cashier the fees for the new passport.

We were waiting for the cashier to open shop, and this other family, that came AFTER we did, just stood huddled in front of the station, like they belonged there! I was pretty miffed at their hurry, and their rudeness, especially since they were counting out which ticket holder had to go up to which window. It was hence pretty satisfying when they were asked to move, and our ticket number was called. That aunty’s smug, haughty look was wiped clean of her face then as she shuffled back to take a seat and wait her turn like everyone else. Hah. Justice. #TheTripleA

That’s about it for that. I didn’t get much sleep last night though…even though I went to bed at around 1 am, I didn’t fall asleep until four. And so I’m running on two hours of sleep, and basically sugar and sunlight~

It was fun. We went to Second Cup afterwards, grabbed a bit of coffee, and some other tidbits (double chocolate muffin, a slice of apple pie, a chicken wrap). Ammi of course wasn’t very fond of her coffee. She’d ordered a medium/regular size too! I got a Cuzco, which is this nutty(aw yeah) chocolate-ish (barely) Latin American blend of coffee, apparently. Adding foam milk just made it all the more better ❤ (Ammi used up half the brown sugars we’d been served, so I only got to use two packets 😦 )

Aaaand now I’m home, typing this out, while I load up a Rizzoli & Isles episode ^_^

Hee hee, well, I’m off now 😛

I’ll type out more about Ayesha’s birthday later today, I hope~

Summer (July) Anime Releases

You can find the releases for which anime this July 2014 on the site, anichart.net.

And I found a helpful chart here, where you can see a picture of the anime’s poster, along with it’s name. So it’s easier to find one to your animation preferences.

Must check out this anime, as it’s got a BUNCH of cool voice actors- Kirito from SAO, Ash Blake from Dragonar Academy. people from Log Hoizon, Fate/Zero?, Vampire Knight, Fairy Tail, No Game No Life, and much much more!)- called Akame ga Kill!  For details on the voice actors, plus pictures of the characters they’ll be voicing, click here.

Hope this is helpful!

It sure helped me get into the whole watching a season of anime, as it AIRS. I’ve never done that before so yeah =P

But I plan to again! It’s awesome ^_^

Scavenging for Pizza & A Reunion with Sullie

Today was a pretty awesome day at school. Loads happened. And stuff from the past three days shall be thrown in since I didn’t have the time otherwise to talk about it tall in detail. So here’s one long post about what happened today, and the other few days.

So today, our entire group of people- Zaid, Mehr Naz, Amal, Ayesha, Fahad, Zara, Ammar, Hashmi, even Ameen, and I (plus other people that I do not recall at the moment…)  pooled our money together, and when that wasn’t enough, asked for donations from other classmates, to order a pizza at our school. It was utterly brilliant, how we had at least twenty people come together, with around a dollar or two each, to get the pizza. And when we finally had enough money, we had a full fledged debate to figure out where we’d order from. Then came the War of the Toppings. Finally, we decided and ordered around ten something. Sad thing was, they wouldn’t deliver til eleven, which was when their delivery guy would come in =( So we waited and waited and waiiiited til then…so obviously when the food actually got here, everyone was desperate for a slice, and DIVED for the box. It was hilarious. Finally, those who were there and paid, got a slice each, a pretty decent sized slice (and that’s saying something since I eat a LOT so I generally complain about portions.). Those that were in class at the time/busy not getting pizza sadly did not get any =P Oh well, you snooze you lose? But then, the vulture free loaders of our branch all gathered around us eating our pizza in the corner. It was ominous and hilarious at the same time. We had to say “Swiper no swipping!” to keep them at bay.

At that point. after grabbing my slice, I ran for Physics since I was late. I made it, and plopped down next to Adil, in the third row, which was the first technically since no one else was sitting ahead of us. I was like the only one scarfing down pizza, while our Sir, Chowha, droned on about DC Circuits. It was kinda funny…I turned around once, and had the entire Hijabbis Clan staring enviously at mah food xD Anything and everything is distracting in physics.

Then there was also how Suleman, the villian I hunted down, or Sullie/Sana, visited from Britain~! Reunited with his girlfriend, Mahnoor the Blah~! Woo! It was really funny, since I was actually the first one to see him enter school. Of course, he got a typical Ze Hello, a punch to the shoulder and a shouted greeting- “Yo, Sana!”. He was kinda shocked/startled by that, but was cool after that. Then, he went inside, cuz he had to talk to Alamdar (he needed permission to enter the school xD ). So I go over to Ammar, who was actually hanging out at the canteen side, and tell him Sullie’s here. Damn, that boy galloped like a gazelle, over the bench, and off towards his (first) true love. (Ammar will always be the gay guy to me =/ ) Apparently, Sullie brohugged Ayesha, and Mahnoor was just glaring her down xD

Then when Qamar and he were walking together, alone, Sherdil the Stud (Yuh-huh =/ He so is, right? -.- He acts like it, though.) teasingly elbows Mahnoor, winking, and all. She just huffed and walked past, cuz he was ruining her date~

Haha, it’s actually really hilarious about how the two are still together. After all, most people don’t make long-distance work. And then there’s Amal’s reaction to that too…

And speaking of relationships and Amal…

And then there’s my matchedness thing too…GWUAH~! Dx

Ugh, it’s like 2 am, and I’m EXHAUSTED.

SO…TOMORROW~!

Gosh, I’m so lazy =/ xD =P =S

Peace~

Ze Out!

Just a Small Pick-me-up (made me feel awesome)

see, i dont date. i have my reasons. (religious ones too. but the internet is evidently no place for religion so just ignore that anyone…) either way, when i was in a random discussion today with an awesome friend of mine, Kamil, we were being nerds on fb and discussing our amazing note taking skills. When i suggested we discuss something less nerdy, he drastically changed topics (as a joke, i guess) and asked me about how many guys ive dated. (he used another word, but i dont know what it means, but im pretty sure its nothing good. so that goes unsaid. duh.) Being nine-year old me, i was kinda at a loss at how to reply. treat it as a joke, get offended, just respond….especially since he used a verb ive never heard of before.

amyhoo, after questioning him about the unheard of unknown word, he says he meant date (and pats me on the head. grr. i obviously told him off for that.) So i just decide to set the record straight, and just said i dont date. And then he said and i quote ‘Yeah, i know. (which proves that he was joking) *respect*’ and i felt AWESOME and super good about myself. most people usually dont have that reaction, as im sure you can guess.

(he later said something about a one and a half i didnt really get it. i shall simply assume he was a stalker. wow, if anyone besides us two reads that, they will have absolutely NO IDEA what im talking about or how exactly did a number conclude to stalking. oh well. it basically shall be nothing new. i amaze, baffle and astound many, its just what i do.)

yeaaah, i REALLY need to get to sleep now. its 1.34 am for gods sake….

so ‘night =3
