Detective Conan ep 704: The Steam Train Murder Case with *Real Plot*

Ramblings and a means to jot down the SUDDEN SHIT LOAD OF PLOT THAT SUDDENLY HAPPENED OH MY GOSH

But first, WHAT THE HOLY HELL I’m in the 700s!! How have I come this far in DC and HOW are there less than 200 episodes until I’m caught up?! I know I said at some point I’d catch up, but but it was supposed to be some point!! I wasn’t expecting to ACTUALLY get there so soon!

I have however been distracting myself with the movies a bit and trying to obsess over other tv shows but but I fell back into it today

AND THE AMOUNT OF REAL PLOT I GOT WOW

[Spoiler Alert!]

So ever since Bourbon was introduced as the mysterious aide to Vermouth, I was convinced it was Subaru-san untiiiiil I realised that that’s far too obvious. The show was obviously trying to lead the audience to that conclusion. So they’d have to plot twist it, and he’s actually a good guy. Some kind of good guy. I hadn’t figured out what they’d do with him since they’d already had Jodie-sensei go from suspicious foreigner to FBI agent good guy. And they also had Akai-san go from actual CIA agent to undercover Organisation member and back to CIA agent and….dead. So what was left?

I wasn’t sure, but Subaru was definitely not a villain. So who was then? In all the ops recently (op 35-36) they’ve been playing up Sera, Subaru, and Amuro as the three suspects to Bourbon. It isn’t Subaru. It also isn’t Sera- she’s way too much of a main good guy character to be evil- plus her eyes. She’s definitely Akai’s sister or some such relative. AND THAT LEAVES US WITH ONE BLONDIE TO DEAL WITH.

Which is why Amuro-kun, Mr. Let-me-be-your-apprentice-even-though-I’m-such-a-great-detect0ve-already-Sleeping-Tantei-san~, is our Bourbon.

This mystery on the train revealed just that- but wait, there’s more! Like the whole good guy bit with Subaru-san. I think they just lead us, the audience, to suspect that he’s actually Akai-san. IF THAT’S TRUE I’LL BE SO HAPPY. It’ll mean he’s not dead after all ❤

And then we can watch Sera beat up her beloved brother so lovingly for putting her through such shit ❤ Yay yay~

Then there’s also some tiny details that deserve to be acknowleged along with Shiinchi’s master plan to trick the organisation that he pulled off to save Haibara.

First of all, the whole bit about how Vermouth hadn’t revealed to the rest of the org that Sherry/Shiho and Shiinchi had shrunk to their kid forms. Which makes sense, sort of,.but also makes me feel like that causes inconsistencies at some points in the show…I don’t know if I’m just being paranoid and don’t have enough faith in the show to have successfully carried that fact out throughout 700+ episodes, but it also seems to put some near-death encounters with the org into suspicion, but I can’t think of any specific instances. It’s just a gut feeling I have. Oh well.

Secondly, let’s look at the fact that KAITO KID WAS THE SPECIAL STARRING GUEST HECK YES. Although they pulled it off faaaabulously, I’m still a little miffed that they didn’t give the poor guy some more actual Kaito Kid magic screentime with his normal personality 😛 That’d be wonderful~ But having him help in trouncing the organisation is also a total win! 😀

Huwowowowowow this was a good bunch of episodes to watch. I kind of want to get back into DC now, but I don’t have the luxary of hundreds of episodes anymore, so it’s probably time for a break ^_^;

Ah, time to skype my Sharinga polar bear :3

DC Rant & Update: The Never Ending Episode (490)

[DC stands for Detective Conan.]
[Spoiler Alert!]

I started The Never Ending Episode yesterday, and it just continued on and on in parts for what seemed like ever. It had FOURTEEN parts total. Each a full 24 minute episode. At least this crazy long episode was about The Black Organization otherwise I don’t even know if I’d have the will power to watch all of it. I know I definitely wouldn’t if it were about he Shounen Detective Boys- ugh.

ANYWAYS I just finished it and this is a small rant about how THEY BLOODY KILLED AKAI-KUN! No, that’s NOT okay. I don’t care if Vermouth said they don’t need two silver bullets- THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN KILL THE ONE THAT’S BEEN OUTSMARTING YOU FOR LONGER UGH. Stupid biker idiot.

I am personally really annoyed by this and I just WISH against all hope that Akai-kun survived. That he somehow outsmarted those idiots one more time. But I know he didn’t TRY to for the sake of that idiot Mizunashi Rena. She’s the worst double/triple agent of all time! Her stupid father’s mission takes precedence too- like what the hell. Just go around killing all your actual allies for the sake of your dead father’s mission, sure, why not >.>

I am genuinely very annoyed with this death. Like no. Conan better make them pay. I want that jerk Rena to die too, somehow, in the crossfire or anything. I just very much disliked her before and now, girl better run if she ever sees me .-.

Well, on the bright side, I’ve now seen over 500 episodes of this show ❤ And I still love it, even if they killed one of my favourite characters. They better keep those Black Sunglasses wearing weirdos away from Kaito Kid and Hattori now >.>

Anyhoo, my littlest sister just invited me to go play at the park with her, so I gotta change out of my pajamas :3

Anime Updates- Summer to Autumn ’15

*Still not addressing that year long absence…*

This summer I kinda made a decision on a whim that totally messed up my anime plan for the summer, and has kinda affected even my Autumn plans sorta, but I’m getting back on track now! Kinda. (And about to go flying off the rails again pretty soon too…)

Okay, time to explain. Traditionally, Alya and I pick out the anime we want to watch and follow for the upcoming season, and then decided which we’ll be watching together. We make compromises, deals, and wagers to figure out our anime schedule for that season.

And after I’d decided (and agreed) to watch all of the following:
I  Akagami no Shirayuki-hime (paused. Manga’s totally much better!)

II Aoharu x Kikanjuu (never started)

aoharu-x-kikanjuu
III Charlotte (finished…tonight, as is pretty evident from my last post.)
IV Classroom Crisis (finished)

482aa09d7c89de296769bd5fd80c14301435186404_fwide
V Gangsta (TOTALLY DROPPED. no.)
VI Gate: something something. Don’t remember the added on Japanese stuff. (haven’t finished)

85a5d8cc2972ae422158be7069076be41435868848_full
VII God Eater (Ugh, the rest got postponed to this Winter…)

73852l
VIII Rokka no Yuusha (finished)

1441919510-0e74e7edb6002de100a613224528f3a5

I ended up putting just about all of those on pause or whatnot because…I’d started Detective Conan (DC). And I was obsessed. Within two and a half weeks I was at around sixty or seventy episodes. By two months, I was at a hundred and fifty. Then I paused because, you know, UNI.

But being me, I still managed to find myself completely drowning in anime again and got to around episode 200 and something. But then midterms and finals, so I never really got into it after how I’m pretty sure I’m past 300 now…

And that’s why about a week ago (yes, I know I’m like nine weeks late!) I dove back into this Autumn’s anime season. Which is what I’m trying to catch up on now- although the only thing I have left to catch up on is Owari no Seraph season two! (Though that was what I was most excited about this season, excluding Haikyuu season two. But finals. So I’ll catch up on it soon!)

Plans for winter break besides catch up and finish this Autumn season? Weeeeell, that’s where I take action on another bad move….

I’ve decided to watch Sailor Moon! Since I haven’t, and hopefully binging all two hundred episodes should be doable. As well as watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (FMAB).

And Star Wars.

Maaaaan, I’m going blind, now aren’t I?
