Sword Art Online Season II Announcement- News, Initial take, and Story Line Discussion

On the little chatango box to the right of animeultima.tv (where I watch all  my anime. I’d seriously recommend it; it’s awesome!), I saw people discussing Sword Art Online. And it’s second season coming out.

Now, I had only started watching it a bit  a few months back, and had only seen the first three episodes. But I had heard Alya fangirl over it all the time. And the way she talked about it, I thought the show already had two seasons, both of only 12 episodes each. So when I saw this discussion on the new Season II releasing in July ’14, I thought the admin on the site had just been too lazy to upload season II before (I’m sorryyy! >.< I’ll never doubt your hard work, and perseverance again!) and were going to upload that in July.

Turns out I was huuugely mistaken, and there’s only one 24 episode season I of SAO, and they are releasing a sequel season soon. But it’s story line is terrible so far for sooo many reasons!

First, I thought that Kirito wasn’t in it at all! And that these two chicks were instead;

Main Characters~

How cool do they look?- But, no! No Kirito?! Then how’s it SAO?! It’s an unnecessary weird spin off thing, like Soul Eater Not! (Like it, but not as good as the original series.)

And then Alya does a bit more googling on the story line, while I google more on it’s release.

It turns out Kirito IS in the story. But Alya misinformed me and said he’s in it as a SUPPORTING CHARACTER to these two chicks.

Bring out the army of fangirls. This isn’t going to be pretty.

But theeen, we find the actual story- Kirito’s avatar is simply that of a girl’s! He’s the maroon haired chick here! This chick;

*Avatar may or may not be this blue. I don’t know.*

*Or this maroon. They need to decide a color scheme, sheesh.*

And him having the avatar of a girl’s is terriiible! Because he’s obviously going to get stuck in a game again, and for the vast majority of the show, we shall see him as a giiirl! Ewww! As someone who think’s Kirito’s adorable, cool, and cute, I’d hate to watch him as a girl all of a sudden. That just doesn’t work for me.

What were the writers thinking? They’re going to end up loosing loads of fans! And the fans they think they’ll gain with She-Kirito’s boobs won’t be that big if no one even understands the confusing mess they’ve made out of the story. I mean, it’s only normal to assume the lead will be the same- and same gender >.> =/- in a sequel series. So not many people will skip SAO and just watch SAO II cuz of the girl leads.

Pfft, and the best thing is this stereo type the Japanese are playing on the Americans. Usually, in anime and manga it’s a rule that all American foreigners muuust be blue eyed and blonde? Well, here they’re adding to that (I hope!) and adding this impression from the internet. The American video game Kirito’s playing now is all about- you guessed it- GUNS!

Gun Gale Online (GGO) (Gale? Reallyyy?? Like, a gust of guns? Like a wind bringing guns with it? Or super guns that blow air too? What a name…) is a game all about guns. But Kirito’s got too much swag for that shiz and obviously went “I’m Japanese. In an Anime. I do what I WANT! Your laws don’t apply to me! And even if you do try to get me to adhere to the rules of this game, I shall use my Japaneseness to simply recode the program of your game to allow me to play with epic swords!” on them and did just that. He has a sword (light saber thing…?)(as well as a gun?) as his weapon.

[I don’t mean to sound mean toward these nationalities. I’m simply joking around. It’s all fun and games. Please don’t take any of this seriously. If anyone out there is offended, know that that was not my intention, and you shouldn’t be. I’m not serious. But in case you still are, I apologize for bring about such a mood on you.]

I gotta go now;I’m exhaaausteeed.

‘Night~!

Amature-Bookreader- My Sister and The Fan

My sister amazes even me, which should be pretty difficult by now, since my expectations are the lowest of all (in the family or otherwise). And yet, when she still manages to stoop lower than that, it leaves me speechless, mindnumblingly shocked, and totally mindblown.

This happened to be one of those incidencts.

So my sister just started an adventure that scared even the over-couragous me (becasue if my siter was infact about to set out doing this…then what may become of the world as we know it?). and that adventure was reading. yes, my sister started to READ. even i am shocked.

and yet, that is not todays particular incident of shock, oh no. However, while on the topic of her reading id like to ellaborate a bit.

Still disappointed and depressed over the books she decided to read, im still not sure how i feel about my sister reading terrible books i hate like Vicky Angel by Jacqueline Wilson (a book that manages to be controverisal to almost all world-widely famous religious beliefs about life-after death) instead of something truly epic like my re-reading Harry Potter. i mean, realllyyy? Wilson’s…shtuff over Harry-inspiring-kids-to-look-forward-to-their-eleventh-birthday-for-a-letter-from-hogwarts-Potter?! really?!

ahem. so er…yeah =P to the actual incident of shock now…

The rooms cool, but both the AC and fan are off…so i tell my brother to turn the fan on. Hadia, isntantly starts complaining, saying that itll mess with her book. so i ask her HOW in the world the fans managed to do that. She responds- and here it comes- with how if the fans on, the pages of the book will begin to flip, because theyll get blown away by the fan. Just just- what? So she ellaborates, exasperated, asthough this is something as easily understood as needing food to live. that basically, the fan will blow air towards her book (factually incorrect. the fan does not blow air, it turns, causing already existing air in the room to move.) and thus turns and moves the pages, making it totally IMPOSSIBLE to read. DUH.

um…how about just trying hold the book properlyy?? you know, in such a way that you can actually READ it without worrying about the pages being moved by something normal like having a fan on in the summer…

and then she showed me how she held the book. it was like she was pinching it tentively, like it might try to bite her, or that shes considering how much cooler itd look on the floor…, anyways, basically, if i so much as turned the fan on, the might might have flown out of her hands.

As a porffesional and awesome mega bookreader nerd-mhmm, self bestowed title, course =D- that i am, i couldnt even COVNEY the level of hugeness of the facepalm i wanted to and nearly did attempt having witnessed and HEARD all of this…but out of fear of smushing my head and killing all my brain cells, making it pretty unlikely to get into say Yale or Standford or even THINK, i decided not to. it was a VERY close call at that too.

aaaand she just did another face palm worthy moment just now as i was typing all this out…she asked me if i wrote in the book shes particularly reading right now and not the author cuz the FONT HAD CHANGED when they showed what was written…um, i cant explain it too well, what i mean so ill show you and examples. (cuz like im all about the examples ^_^ )

so then i elegantly scrawled a message across the corner of her page. the message read,
Oi, what do you MEAN by Percy Jacksons not awesome?!
^the above scrawl being in an actual different font…it didnt work here for some reason =Y

SO YEAAAH…it was like that. but it was basically a girl writing a message with frosting on a cake or something. it couldve been ketchup on a hotdog too so…yeah, whatever, she basically thought wrote it…just no…no.

hmm =/

ladies and gentlemen, my sister. wohoo.

keep your facepalms ready.

Ze Out!
