Shuumatsu no Izetta: Episode 8 Train of Thought

Image result for shuumatsu no izetta

Firstly, this anime has SUCH an interesting plot to it, and actually touches on how tragic it could be. Simply put, it’s how World War II would pan out if there were somehow a witch thrown into the mix that was willing to help defend and protect one country. For a proper plot summary, read more about it here cuz this post is gonna be me rambling on about the most recent episode I just saw not five minutes ago okay bye.

THIS EPISOOOOODE- Oh my gosh

So this guys:

Ricelt Ricelt, was like my favourite character besides Bianca. And for some bizarre reason, he decided to meet up with the stupid Germanian spy that got the POOR IZETTA FANBOY SOLDIER KILLED UGH in Elystadt (I most likely spelled that wrong. Scratch that- I did spell it wrong until I had to check.) AND THEN AND THEN they have him meet Bianca and Lotte-chan and he starts to become their friend and instantly he and Bianca become a ship for me. But then they have to go and give him a tragic ending EVEN THOUGH this episode was going sooooo well until that ending old castle raid mission. I had such hope for him meeting the “good guys” and sympathizing, which they totally tricked us with cuz he did meeting the people of this country, but but I wanted him to stay “evil”/on his country’s side and HE DID, but the whole situation they put him in was just the worst and and and-

I don’t knooooow. WHY’D HE HAVE TO DIE.

Stop killing characters I like please.

OH MY GOSH DON’T YOU DARE KILL BIANCA TT^TT

Siiiigh that’s all I have the energy to type out. Now to go watch some other anime and try to mourn his loss later.

Akatsuki no Yona Manga Uptodate-ing

Remember way back in like the Autumn of 2014, I started and loved the anime Akatsuki no Yona? And how I said I would totally read the manga before the second season came out? Well, there’s still no sound of a continuation, but I finally found the time to start and get up to date on the manga!

AnY2

By fully utilizing my overwhelming freedom in the summer vacation, I have spent the last two ish days reading all 122 chapters of the manga. I nearly finished it last night, but I cried waaaayyy too much when it came to Zeno’s backstory TT^TT I just couldn’t read anymore so I took a day to cope.

There’s just so much emotion here with the manga and it went suuuuper farther than the anime. To put that into perspective, the anime ended at about chapter 27 ish maybe 30 at most in the manga. See what I mean?

Now, I’m not here to fangirl over and theorize about what could happen now. I’m just going to be me and spam a few (hah, that’s not me. I spam A LOT.) of pictures and then be off to start my next summer past time adventure- anime~!

(Plans for the summer: Watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (FMAB), rewatch Cowboy Bebop cuz I don’t remember it, and maybe finish the first season of the original Sailor Moon I started in the winter? Who knows. Let’s get to it~!)

But first, Joker Game~

Hotarubi no Mori e

So I’ve finally gotten more so into anime movies (like, singular, independent, make sense on their own sort of movies unlike the thousands of pokemon, beyblade, dbz, and many others I’ve seen so far) and this one just kept sort of coming up when I searched for something to watch. That’s why when I realized I had nothing to do for a few hours, I decided to watch it after all.

[Spoiler Alert!]

I reaaaally liked it, but I can’t say I’m too thrilled with the ending even though it was soooo expected. But I wish there had been a cute end credit scene that either made it look like Gin wasn’t *really* gone, or something like that with his presence still watching Hotaru OR if they showed us Hotaru a few years later still remembering Gin ❤

Also, stupid human child sneaking into a spirit festival and tripping all over the place to chase down some chick- like, bacha, it is freaking midnight and you are about nine years old- why aren’t you home?! Why aren’t your parents looking for you? And bloody WHY are you chasing down some girl in the forest?!? This dumb prick is the reason Gin turned to sparkles 😦 Even though it was bound to happen anyways…there’s only so long that guy could go without hugging Hotaru. (At least he kinda kissed her.)

^Possible thoughts going through Gin’s head at this moment:
I Well, crap. I restrained myself for so long only to be touched by a GUY?! Wtf.
II I am so sparkly. Damn.
III I might as well have REALLY kissed Hotaru (five seconds ago).
IV Dang it, Mountain God! Really, I have to die in an explosion of sparkles?! Couldn’t I have just faded away peacefully instead of having my dignity fade away like it is right now??

Or something like that ^_^

But still, this was cute, and now I’m looking for some more to watch. Who would’ve thought I’d watch this and cry just a little? ❤

Ao no Exorcist

I was first introduced to the difference between anime and cartoons in fifth grade. I didn’t really understand it, and there wasn’t anyone who got the difference either, so I angrily denied its existence mockingly as people who suddenly wanted to be mature and grown up would call cartoons anime as though they were now justifying how watching cartoons as “adults”.

Only when I was in seventh grade did I begin to understand how anime is different from cartoons and acknowledge it as its own thing. Sure, there are some major exceptions there where in my head Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, and Beyblade just don’t count as anime. It’s only because I saw them aired first hand when I was little and watched all of it understanding that they were cartoons.

But nonetheless, come seventh grade, I gave it a chance. And clearly, I liked a lot of what I saw. From what I remember, Ao no Exorcist is one of those beginner must sees of anime, and I think I started it in the summer vacation of seventh grade or something like the beginning of eighth. Either way, I loved it and it was one of those binge watches where I started midday, watched like most of the show and then continued watching the next morning after I slept. But I felt like I’d watched it too quickly- that I had breezed through it. I wanted to savour it more. So even though I was already on episode 21 (out of 25), I came to a sudden halt.

I don’t remember perfectly well what happened after I decided that I would watch one episode per day until I finished it, but I never did. And I never went back to it either. Don’t get me wrong- I didn’t forget about it. I thought about it loads. It’s always one of the first anime that come to mind when I get bored, feel like watching something old, feel like finishing something I haven’t, etc etc.

And approximately five or six years later, I have. I started from episode 15 with only the intent to finish it, but after so long…I didn’t want to cheat myself out of some serious enjoyment again. I went back, watched from episode one on to- the last one.

This post isn’t here as a place for me to blab my thoughts and reactions of that ending at all. It’s just here to say I did finish it. And now I shall loop the openings for this classic anime as I search up pictures I like of it ❤

Anime Recommendation Accomplishment

Yesterday I managed to finally complete a task I have been working on on and off for more than two years (or has it been three..?) and the reality of the situation is hitting me now.

So regardless of how I am completely aware that my brother isn’t an anime fanatic like me, he does watch the odd one or two anime. Which is why whenever I fall in love with one, I always tell him if I think he’ll like it or not when I rave about it to him (because that shall inevitably happen). Aaaand so I started Fairytail like two years ago and was head over heels for it. I watched nothing but that anime for most of the winter break and I almost caught up to the show. (Quite the feat considering how it had 175 episodes out then. This is also when Fairytail was put on hiatus. When I found out that, I abruptly stopped at somewhere around ep 90-something.)

Anyways, ever since I started it, I told my brother, Que, to watch it. But he’s neverrr, not once, tried it! Sure, it being Fairytail, he’s heard of it, and scene pictures of it, but he hasn’t tried it at all.

Yesterday he started it. And he likes it!

There’s a huge deal of satisfaction involved when a suggestion or recommendations is taken both seriously and then becomes loved by the one you recommended it to. Which is the mellow version of how smug and accomplished I feel right now :3

It might even be possible that once we start discussing the episodes he’s seen, I’ll want to revisit this anime and continue off where I was. But, gosh, that’s a looot to catch up on…at least it’s better than DC, huh?

Charlotte- Finally Finished

charlotte_anime

*Totally ignoring how it’s kinda been a year. That shall be addressed later.*

Ahem.

charlotte___anime_icon_by_wasir525-d8psu4b

CHARLOTTE. It came out this Summer season of anime, but I ended up getting distracted with the classical anime that is Detective Conan (DC) aaaaaand basically ended up totally pausing this one.

What an idiotic mistake.

Now that my winter break has started (Day one, wohoo~!), I reeeeaaaally was craving some anime, so I thought this would be as good a time as any to finish this. After all, I had seen the first four episodes and it seemed interesting.

It went from interesting, to utterly terrible- “WHY?! Why would you do this?!!”- to me, to interesting, to reeeaaaally interesting, to OH MY GOSH, THE FEELS. THE FEEEEELS. It hurt.

But anyhoo, it’s totally amazing! Before I delve into my opinion of it, I’ll just link this summary of the anime from animelist in case anyone would like to check it out. I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you like sci-fi, fantasy, slice of life, drama, etc, etc, anime~

(And emotions somewhere near that of Nagi no Asukara!)

[Spoiler Alert!]

Okay, Yu’s brother? Oh my gosh, this guy was so epic. Like, he was so amaaaaazing. For everyyything. And ugh- Kumagami! Aaaaaah/Uuuugh, whyyyy?! I was honestly not too thrilled with poor Pooh’s death, even if it was only for the sake of Mr. Awesome Time Traveling Oldie 😦

*Totally looping the op as I type this. I’m so obsessed right now.*

AND MISA. Like, can I please discuss that?!

charlotte-03-misa-yusa-possessed-pyrokinesis-fire-superpowers

One, when she was introduced, I loved her so damn much. Easily my favourite female character of the show (even her red haired friend- I cried watching that episode and he was only a cameo character!) and then she died- AFTER she was already dead!! I mean- “Let a dead person do what she should and die already, so I bid you farewell!” THE TEARS WON’T STOP. Misaaaa TT^TT

UGH, even the final episodes promise between Yu and Tomori! Like, I kinda find it really satisfactory that the first season ended without Tomori falling for Yu, and not really responding to his confession when he did admit his feelings for her.

Hm? Did I just mention the FIRST season as though there’s going to be another one? Weeeell….

Okay, so I have no really proof of this except THIS, but I’m hopeful ❤ Winter 2016, you better have a Charlotte Second Season, ya hear!!

Awwww, and honestly, I just love it so much, even though I’m remembering my first impressions- which I was about to dedicate a separate post to since I love it so much now, but I guess I’d rather just have it all together in one. So here goes.

Some first impressions:

(Imma just go over one major thing I remember really. That’s why it’s okay to just throw into this post! ^_^ )

THIS

brzasrj

What is this nostalgic No Game No Life tribute?! Okay, I realize it probably wasn’t even intended as such, BUT it’s too close!! NGNL is still at the back of my mind every time I see a scene like this. And who is who when I see the flashback of that brilliant op? Obviously Yu is Sora, but does that make…Tomori Shiro..? Unacceptable. Just- hell no.

For so many reasons. Although, it’s pretty evident I didn’t like Tomori at all in the beginning of the show, but now, she’s not just tolerable, she’s okay. Sure, I’m still not a fan. I mean, no chick can beat Misa in this anime. Nor could anyone beat her up 😛

And fangirling over Misa’s red haired comrade~

That’s it for first impressions.

Okaaaay, then there’s the Charlotte comet thing- I reaaally liked that touch. Very nicely done. Add a flair of sci-fi to the show.

1447594189-f0c5bb252151858a5e82cd38505b0ede

Alriiiightie. Imma take a break to calm my heart, listen to some more of the op, and then get back to dealing with this blahg! I mean, come on, I’ve missed this and this is probably why I’ll end up writing like four different posts tonight :3

Oh wyell~

New Anime Started from this Season- Reviews, Picture, and Obsessions

This season’s got some seriously cool anime that’s just released. I’ve been watching and trying quite a few, and I’m loving what I’ve seen so far. Here are the names of a few I started, and what I think of them so far. Whether I plan on continuing them or not, some picture, and a few that are just so damn ADORABLE that I’m already obsessed after one episode. (I’ll get to that.)

I Akuma no Riddle- Started it, mentioned it in my last anime related post. Watching it, and I’ll finish it too, as it is only given thirteen or twelve episodes. It’s alright, and I’m mostly watching it for the action and the animation. It’s not entirely my kind of anime.

II Broken Blade/Break Blade-

Started it just a few days ago, and I’ll continue it only for the reason that it’s a mecha anime, and I’ve never really seen one before. It’s story is pretty interesting too, so yay. It’s animation is a little different from what I’m used to and prefer, but it’s not bad, it’s still actually good.

III Nobunaga the Fool-

Only seen the first episode, a bit more of mecha, and yet I like it’s fantasy story much more. It’s got a prophecy involved, a lady of shallot hearing whispers, and even THE KING ARTHUR! In a semi futuristic setting not on Earth, I am so watching this.

IV No Game No Life- Current obsession!

And I’m so glad the main dude is such a badass red head, since the one in Mouhouka Koukou no Rettousei certainly isn’t even revealed to us yet, so we can’t see his badassery… Ahem, so yeah, Sora is awesome. Love him already ❤

Badass Sora

Adorable Little Sister- Shiro

The animation to this show is superb and it’s very SAO, except so far, the two siblings actually don’t want to return home. I like that plot twist. And I can’t wait to see what happens next!! Crap, I really shouldn’t have started this anime the day before a CIE…

*poof*
