Free! the Anime

So I started  a sportsy anime, Haikyuu. A show all about this super short kid that wants to play volleyball and be the very best that no one ever was as an Ace (a position that usually requires loads of height). And the constant talk of believing in yourself, and hilarity, and just typical school closeness, with super sappy lines had me!

Epic Fanart. But they messed up the numbers on the shirts =Y

I missed anime like that so MUCH. I think the last sports anime I’ve ever seen was…I can’t even recall! That’s how long it’s been. And I fell head over heals for this genre then.

But this anime is still ongoing! And I wanted to binge watch an epic sports anime.  NOW.

So I opened up a new tab, and did some searching. I came across Korouko no Basket, and a few others. (Watched the first ep, but I got hooked on something else after Alya told me I was on the look for sport anime.)

I started watching Free!, and anime all about swimming. It’s super short, complete, and only has twelve episodes, half the normal amount of episodes most anime have. It was awesome though! I seriouslyyy loooved it~!

I actually reaaally liked it! It was adorable, and in such a short time, I did manage to bond with a bunch of the characters! That’s no easy feat with just twelve episodes, ya know 😉

But, my fave characters have got to be Haru/Nanase, Rin, and Nagisaaaaa~

Nagisa’s awesome, fun, bright, and just generally happy. Haru, you come to love. And Rin- looks so damn cool, right?- but his creepy shark fangs look a bit frightening, especially paired with those red eyes…

More pictures~!

Why is Rei randomly just THERE in the background..?

This picture ❤

Kinda Cute Chibis!

Although I watched the first eleven episodes in two days, I didn’t watch the last one til last night. (After three ish days.) But I loved it’s ending, and it ended with THIS picture;

READ THAT ENGLISH LINE. READ IT.

See you next Summer!

Which means there was the initial intention to make a second season!! So I did some more googling, and what to I find? THIS!

Dat Blue Two.

A confimation on it’s release- this JULY ❤ (I found out here.)

Yay :3 I can’t wait now!

Ze Aluminium Analogy

This is Chemistry Philosophy at its finest. Well, perhaps not finest, but it is it nonetheless.

But first, a bit of a background story. This was my instant thought when Sir Shaheer mentioned Aluminium and its Aluminium Oxide layer to us concerning the physical appearance of Al.

But first, a bit of Chemistry 101. Otherwise the brilliance of this analogy won’t be recognized. First, Aluminium is a metal. Basic knowledge, that is. And as a metal, you expect it to be shiny, which it is. Its a shiny silver metal that has luster. But due to Aluminium’s reactivity, it reacts with oxygen present in the air. The product to this is called Aluminium Oxide, Al2O3, and it forms a grey layer on top of all exposed surfaces of the shiny metal. So now there’s a shiny silver metal, with a coat of grey on top of it, encasing it. So, when aluminium reacts with oxygen, it looses it’s initial luster. Make sense so far? Great. If not, go reread it or google it.

Aluminium’s soft, the lab type, and you can slice it with a knife. If you do, you expose the inner shiny metal. The positive (speaking in terms of how the luster represents hope, naivety, pureness. Positive is not in terms of ions here… =P )aluminium, when exposed to the the world, to reality, to the cruelness and harshness of the world, is over powered by it, and soon, very very soon, it looses that luster, and loses that hope. It becomes grey eventually, and inevitably, just as the aluminium on the original outside was. It became just as grey and dull and non-porous as the aluminium (that reacted to form the outer aluminium oxide layer) before it.

*Pssshhheewwww~*
The sound of your mind being blown right now.

Dat Philosophy.

Thank you, and good night~

The Question to Life, the Universe and Everything Else

Everyone philosophical and thoughtful has pondered the meaning of Life, the Universe and Everything Else at atleast one point in their lives. Be it in the shower, just before drifting off to sleep, in their Physics/Math class…either way, it happens.

But i ask you, as the author to Hitchhiker’s Douglas Adams brought up to me, what exactly is the question as to you are finding the answer?

If there is no question that you are answering…what good is an answer to that? Even if the answer is BRILLIANT and makes total sense, it becomes like Math. You get it wonderfully for about five seconds before it stops making sense anymore. It confuses you. But no matter what kind of simple and making sense kind of answer you give or think up, it WONT make sense if it doesnt answer a question.

Afterall, an answer is made an answer only if it answers a question. So without a question, it is nothing. :O

so…whats the QUESTION to Life, the Universe, and Everything Else?

That’s what you should be thinking in your next shower. Good luck there. And if you come up with an answer (joke or not, serious or not, simple or complex) do let me know. id like to see what anyone’s guess on such a deep topic would be. We could even debate it through if i disagree, and who knows, you might convince me as to it being the real question of all time.

So let’s think up some intelligent questions before we get ahead of ourselves and start trying to make up answers to questions that havent even been asked yet. Lets not get overeffecient, now shall we?

A Quote on Fairy Tales

‘Fairy tales are more than true; But not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that they can be beaten.’
-Neil Gaiman

Now, isnt that just brilliant? i love it =3

but i just have one other question to ask.

So if i have a dragon, that makes my life a fairy tale..?

Sounds good to me ^_^

Quote of Ze Day-Stars, Fathoming, & Constellations-John Green

Quote of Ze Day-Stars, Fathoming, & Constellations-John Green

AAAAARRRGGGhhh. i STILL havent managed to get my hands on a copy of the Fault in Our Stars, and hence, stilll havent read it! grrr. ive been looking forward to reading this book since FOREVER. gjrnoeudgf. it also doesnt help that my evil laptop just erased my entire post right before i could post it, and the anger erased most of it from my memory. anyways, i havent read the book which im probably sure this beautiful and elequent quote is from. siigh. although, i do think i can post this quote as i have been following the vlogbrothers on youtube, hank and john green’s channel, since, um, 2010 or 2009, not sure when exactly, but i have watched all their stuff from 2007. so im sure i know enough about john green to post this without doing him the justice of reading the entire book. or not. sorry, john green =) but anyhoo, this quote shall be very helpful next semester at school. all my teachers complain my expressionism sucks, and really needs improvement. (i think thats tosh, since i still get great grades and i get my point across. although in literature i do think i could use some work…but in all other subjects, i personally think im fine =/) so this is what i shall say to them then. yeeep. cant wait to see their reaction. especially if they have come across john greens work =)
weelll, im done.
DFTBA!

My Neighbors building Frankenstein

Now before i get drilled like ‘oi, your last post said youre on prep leave for your exams, so wtf you doin here again?’ i just saw something that might be nothing or just everything- not likely- or Frankenstein’s birth.

Ive made it a habbit to walk on the chut- the roof top- daily at around 7.30 pm cuz otherwise its too hot in the daylight hours. and it givews me something to do thats healthy when the lights are out cuz that one lone lightbulb in my room thats on the UPS fused and now needs to be replaced. until then, my rooms dark and i just cant study anywhere else. sooo i go up to the rooftop and walk in the wind =)

So today, since the lights are out, i find it verrryyyy suspicious that this one house, a street behind mine, diagnally across, has these sparks, short bursts of light every now and then, as if their- welding. but ive had welding done at my house before to put up this grill and its extreemeelyyyy loud. you can hear it up to atleast a 3 house radius. yet, their thing wasnt making any noise.

so what are my mysterious neighbors upto? what are the building, blowing up silently, constructing?

LIFE.

the day before the day before the day before THAT, it was all stormy and there was loaaadsss of lightning. i was up there late at night on a im-bored-got-nothing-else-to-do-with-my-life stroll and saw it all first hand. so they must have been building Frankenstein, and gave it life then. duh.

And now theyre just makings some last adjustments. yep yep.

so thats new.

ive got mysteriously mad scientist neighbors whove created life. and thus, resulted in my neighbor being Frankenstein. so yeaaah.

what can i say, theres never a dull moment in my life =P

and these are the findings and conclusions drawn by myself and i DO work with sherlock, afterall. im  such a cool Wattson, i know B)

later, homies!
