My Adventure on Foreign Soil!

I’m making it sound more epic than it actually is. Hey, embassies are considered the soil of the country they belong to, so I’m technically correct. Geez, it needs a touch of dramatic flare, is all.

It was QUICK. They newly introduced an actual appointment system, with ticket numbers like at a fast food place, and it’s so much more efficient and less messy than before. Five years ago, it was on a first come first served basis, and it sucked. I’d have to miss school and stay at the embassy for around six hours just for a ten minute interview, and a few signatures.

We were out of there in an HOUR. And it only took us that long too because the cashier wasn’t in at the time, so we had to wait a bit. Plus, other people were still showing up. I love hour our stereotypical Desi un-punctuality is even influencing an embassy of a foreign nation ❤ It brings a tear to my “dual” national eye :’)

While the first dude was checking out our application for my passport renewal, he was fiddling with the date stamp, and after a while finally stamped 28 July 2014 onto the form. It’s June, bro. My dad politely asked why he’d stamped July, and then realizing his error, fixed it. He also forgot which ink to sign at the bottom of the form in, so it was fixed up professionally with half a black signature that had been finished and rewritten in red ink. Poor guy must’ve been reaaally sleepy, really off his game, or just plain ol’ clumsy. Who knows.

The second dude that conducted my interview (they didn’t have me take a proper oath, but I still had to promise that I hadn’t lied on the forms, with my right hand raised. I hope that’s the closest I ever get to a proper oath too 😛 ) was a gora guy, and he was pretty great at what he was doing with the questions, and answering those my dad asked too.

There was also a stop between these two guys, which was stopping and paying the cashier the fees for the new passport.

We were waiting for the cashier to open shop, and this other family, that came AFTER we did, just stood huddled in front of the station, like they belonged there! I was pretty miffed at their hurry, and their rudeness, especially since they were counting out which ticket holder had to go up to which window. It was hence pretty satisfying when they were asked to move, and our ticket number was called. That aunty’s smug, haughty look was wiped clean of her face then as she shuffled back to take a seat and wait her turn like everyone else. Hah. Justice. #TheTripleA

That’s about it for that. I didn’t get much sleep last night though…even though I went to bed at around 1 am, I didn’t fall asleep until four. And so I’m running on two hours of sleep, and basically sugar and sunlight~

It was fun. We went to Second Cup afterwards, grabbed a bit of coffee, and some other tidbits (double chocolate muffin, a slice of apple pie, a chicken wrap). Ammi of course wasn’t very fond of her coffee. She’d ordered a medium/regular size too! I got a Cuzco, which is this nutty(aw yeah) chocolate-ish (barely) Latin American blend of coffee, apparently. Adding foam milk just made it all the more better ❤ (Ammi used up half the brown sugars we’d been served, so I only got to use two packets 😦 )

Aaaand now I’m home, typing this out, while I load up a Rizzoli & Isles episode ^_^

Hee hee, well, I’m off now 😛

I’ll type out more about Ayesha’s birthday later today, I hope~

Ze Week of Anime Endings

=(

Just about EVERY Spring anime I started is ending this week! Why must they have tiny 12 episodes only?! Gah D: (Only exceptions are Haikyu and Mahouka. *sniff*)

Akuma no Riddle already ended on Friday, and I hated it’s ending. They didn’t do anything cool at all. Plus, they held out on two pieces of information that just drove me up the wall =Y One, you know how Azuma’s mentor bunda just keeps texting her riddles? The last one was “The world is full of/filled of ____.” She replied. They show us his reaction when he read the text- he smiled, and laughed. But they didn’t show us her answer!! Grrr…That’s literally what they named the episodes after- those riddles! And they didn’t give them anyyy importance after that -.- Stupid. Then, two, there was how they didn’t tell us Azuma’s  wish, or even if she had cashed it in! What bothers me is that they could have done two things with this- the first being that they didn’t draw a conclusion, as Azuma didn’t demand to disband this test thingie, and a whole other Black Class scenario could happen just in a few months with other people. This seems like they did a terrible job of tying up the loose ends, and failing to notice their own storyline. YET, secondly, it’s possible that they put that loophole on purpose so they could eventually show us another Black Class scenario with new characters. Basically, pull a Beyblade *-* Dx

Black Bullet ends today…
I Enju better not die >.> <.<
II Grass Haired Kisara should not get a romantic moment with Rentarou(, and neither should Curly Haired Yukata chick).
III They better have an epic end finale with the Masked Dude and his daughter.

No Game No Life ends tomorroooow ❤ Whyyyyyy D: That’s the WORST show to be ending at 12 episodes… slkdjfaso;irjfghjsaoei!!! Maaaan, I mean, there was no waaaayy they could have (spoiler!) defeated the Eastern Federation, and all other races to have gathered all race pieces AS well as challenge Tet and WIN. They’re making a second season, of course, but it comes out in like 2016 D: I don’t want to waaaait that loooong~

At least there’s a manga…

So I just watched the twelvth and apparently SECOND last, not last, episode of Black Bullet. I actually liked it. It’s interesting where they’re taking the story. Even though I hated how easily Rentarou and Masked Guy defeated the Pleidaeiay (Mercury Shooting Gastrea). A punch from them EACH, and bam, it’s dead. Pfft. Plus, I’m so glaaad that Masked Guy is baaack~! I knew he didn’t die. He’s also in the theme song, as well as the only villain in the show. They couldn’t kill him so simply. He also has a very interesting and dark past. But of course. So yay ❤ Alya totally called his revival into the show though xD

Aaaand now I just started Durarara! =) Ooops, I better get to bed now! I’ve gotta get up for sushi tomorrow :3

Janeh~! (See ya later)

I-Ireland? Is That You…?

yeaaaah baby, my debating coach picked the most APT place to go for my very first abroad debating trip! Ireland! eeeeeeek!!!

my middle name being Irish, its awesome. and absolutley perfect.

its insanely expensive though…200 euros? no sweat..ehehe..*cough im broke cough*

but seriously, it sounds just SO fun. well be taking part in a parliamentary three on three style tournament for three days. then well be coached by international coaches for three days. then, well be shuffled into teams with random people for our next tournament to see how well we learnt, whatever else. but thats just so insanely fun!! i wanna make so many new friends, and if i get permission to go, i ll be going with one of my best friends, ayesha, so itll be epic. and its ireland for gods sake, ireland!! eeeeep! i cant waaaiiit!

i just really really reaaalllly hope i get permission to go…

i mean, isnt it like destiny? its just so perfect…and ive always wanted to go to ireland! so i really am trying to win my dad over in letting me go…lets see how that works out.

i even dreamed about it! yeah, even my subconscious is telling me to hurry up and get on that plane…

now i need to work on my irish accent even more =) might i just add that, i have made progress on that, btw. but i sort of require (..desperately) to use either the word lassy or laddy to pull it off though. its just a psychological thing with me, so yeaaah. a little more practice needed there….

ok, one last post about my dream in ireland, and THEN i studying for my lit test tmrw=P
