Stealing a Tree;Starting a War

Yes, you read that right.

Last night were the Mosquers held by the MSA, and I was super eager to go, yet because it was late (like 6 to 9 pm kinda late) and Hibah didn’t have permission to stay, I couldn’t go. I heard it was amazing, and emotional, and funny, and everything.

But one prize the sisters collectively walked away with was The Better Side of the Lounge.

So, I suggested that we steal the tree that the brothers are so proud of and move it to the girls’ side as our prize. Everyone laughed and no one really took me seriously, but I was, of course, a hundred percent serious. And then Kholoud walked in at the most perfect time, and she helped me steal the tree and move it to our side.

So I stole a tree this morning. And it was wonderful.

To celebrate this triumph even more, the two of us went to Imanie’s office to borrow some tape so we could label the tree with a sign that said “The Best Side of the Lounge”. It was a proud moment.

I left the lounge for my consecutive classes then. But it only gets better. Because the boys were obviously not thrilled about his developement and stole it back. However, Nooriyah caught them on camera and posted on the MSA fb page ratting them out to us. Kholoud and I started fighting in the comments and so the war began.

(I texted about this to Abdallah, but he couldn’t guess what I’d done. So I finally got ot tell him at like 3:30 pm and he died laughing.)

It was the beginning of my legacy as an MSA freshie xD

However, pretty quickly the great Adil/AQ gave his blessings for us to keep the tree, and the boys backed down saying it was out of respect for him.

Later on in the day, I come to the lounge to see that the tree has been decorated with a hijab and it looked hilariously fabulous. It was gorgeous.

YET HERE I AM AT 6 PM GETTING THIS TEXT- that notifies me the boys have stolen our tree back and left a smaller tree in its place as a replacement, attempting a truce.

Bullshit.

When Kholoud and I heard of this, we got really annoyed and started plotting their demise. But we’d already left campus so we started another fb war.

It is currently ongoing. We’ll see how this ends.

Will we get our beloved tree? Will the boys suddenly decrease in number in the MSA? Only time will tell.

Haikyuu! season 2 (and God Eater)

As I pulled up the season final for Haikyuu! season 2, I stumbled across an announcement thing in the most recent anime uploads for the anime site I was using which instantly caught my eye because it was the last (13th) episode of God Eater!!

Now, God Eater was an anime from the Summer of 2015 that was based off the game God Eater Burst I think and the first anime I decided to watch based off a video game. And I totally looooved it. However, there were issues releasing the episodes on time, and after many delays, the 8th episode was the last one for quite the while because they postponed the series until the Winter season that year. Or so they said.

It was then completely unheard of until just now, for me at least, and now I see on this site that they’ve been uploading the last few episodes in the last few weeks of March 2016 and the last episode came out yesterday. Well, I’ll probably watch that this weekend or something, but now, back to Haikyuu!

[Spoiler Alert!]

OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOOOOSHHHH

So much hype and build up! And there wasn’t even a proper match in this ep! They wrapped up Seijoh’s loss super well and I felt kinda bad for Kindaichi, but then his teammate told Kageyama how they wouldn’t lose next time and it was the start of a super serious rivalry once more. On both sides ❤

Then there was Oikawa. You know how I hate Stupid Royal Ass most of the times during matches against Karasuna even though most of the times I like him but I just get annoyed when he’s against them? Well, this is the one time I was suuuuper loving and happy with him! When? When he told the even holier than Oikawa (this statement is equivalent to saying with a bigger ego than Seto Kaiba. Yuh-huh, I went there.) Japan from Shiratorizawa (you know, strong-jawed, “concrete can’t bear fruit” guy.) how he better not have all his attention focused on him, because otherwise he might get stabbed where he least expects it. By Oikawa’s “kawaii kohai” Tobio (ew, that’s so weird to even type). Oikawa even had a special edition of Hinata’s rape face going on and it was one of the best things ever in this episode. Creepier than even Hinata when he makes that face, yes, but epic nonetheless.

Then there was the actual build up towards the finals. The school congrats, even the little tv announcement, it was all adorable ❤ (Hah, stupid newscasters! You can’t focus on bloody Oikawa and his preferences for girls and chocolate now can you since he LOST!! Muahahaha!)

I also loved Hinata’s little speech of “It doesn’t matter” because they’ll win anyways after Ukai-sensei tried to prepare them the night before the match. It was worth it. I honestly died a little with the end credit scene as well because it reminded me so much of Japan in the one episode where Hinata and Kageyama scouted the competition with Shiratorizawa. That’s why when Hinata and Kageyama stepped up-  Japan recognized them, of course (one does not simply forget when Hinata jumps two feet above your head and steals your volleyball. Promptly afterwards which he threatens you with his rape face of terror.); called them out by name, and the entire Karasuna team was like what the eff is happening?! – and said how he was going to prove that talent can grow from concrete and how he’s going to show him by defeating him.

(Japan also said the line “Let’s meet on the court” and I couldn’t help but think “pfft, not unless you go to the bathroom first and see Hinata a mess of nerves and lose all the current respect you have for him.”)

I had to resist so much to not put a thousand spoilers onto my snapchat story of the show because I do know at least one of my friends on it is behind BY CHOICE, the fool. Ugh, that moment Kageyama and Hinata read the sheet that announced tomorrow’s match- “The Japanese National High School Volleyball Tournament Miyagi Prefecture Qualifiers (Boys) Finals Shiratorizawa vs. Karasuna” I diiiieeeeed with squeals and eeeeps of excitement as I usually do.

Time for this flock of crows to tear apart an eagle as Oikawa said very fittingly~

UGH so much perfect build up but now we have to wait until Autumn 2016 for season 3!! Aaaaaaaah come soon ❤ ❤ ❤

Finishing Free Eternal Summer

I finally finished Free’s second season…even though I was originally watching it when it came out in May…and then fell off track.

But regardless, I caught up today. and by that I mean I finished it xD

Damn. I have so much to say, but it’s far too late, and I have yet to discuss it with Alya too.

Ah, and I need to binge watch Akame ga Kill now….

Ahem. So I’m putting this off for now too! I’ll add to this post when I can!

Maaaan, I feel so guilty for not typing it all out properly now! Especially since I just had my laptop open a while ago tooo!

Aaaargh. Oh wyeeeeelll.

I’m off for now.

Free! the Anime

So I started  a sportsy anime, Haikyuu. A show all about this super short kid that wants to play volleyball and be the very best that no one ever was as an Ace (a position that usually requires loads of height). And the constant talk of believing in yourself, and hilarity, and just typical school closeness, with super sappy lines had me!

Epic Fanart. But they messed up the numbers on the shirts =Y

I missed anime like that so MUCH. I think the last sports anime I’ve ever seen was…I can’t even recall! That’s how long it’s been. And I fell head over heals for this genre then.

But this anime is still ongoing! And I wanted to binge watch an epic sports anime.  NOW.

So I opened up a new tab, and did some searching. I came across Korouko no Basket, and a few others. (Watched the first ep, but I got hooked on something else after Alya told me I was on the look for sport anime.)

I started watching Free!, and anime all about swimming. It’s super short, complete, and only has twelve episodes, half the normal amount of episodes most anime have. It was awesome though! I seriouslyyy loooved it~!

I actually reaaally liked it! It was adorable, and in such a short time, I did manage to bond with a bunch of the characters! That’s no easy feat with just twelve episodes, ya know 😉

But, my fave characters have got to be Haru/Nanase, Rin, and Nagisaaaaa~

Nagisa’s awesome, fun, bright, and just generally happy. Haru, you come to love. And Rin- looks so damn cool, right?- but his creepy shark fangs look a bit frightening, especially paired with those red eyes…

More pictures~!

Why is Rei randomly just THERE in the background..?

This picture ❤

Kinda Cute Chibis!

Although I watched the first eleven episodes in two days, I didn’t watch the last one til last night. (After three ish days.) But I loved it’s ending, and it ended with THIS picture;

READ THAT ENGLISH LINE. READ IT.

See you next Summer!

Which means there was the initial intention to make a second season!! So I did some more googling, and what to I find? THIS!

Dat Blue Two.

A confimation on it’s release- this JULY ❤ (I found out here.)

Yay :3 I can’t wait now!

I-Ireland? Is That You…?

yeaaaah baby, my debating coach picked the most APT place to go for my very first abroad debating trip! Ireland! eeeeeeek!!!

my middle name being Irish, its awesome. and absolutley perfect.

its insanely expensive though…200 euros? no sweat..ehehe..*cough im broke cough*

but seriously, it sounds just SO fun. well be taking part in a parliamentary three on three style tournament for three days. then well be coached by international coaches for three days. then, well be shuffled into teams with random people for our next tournament to see how well we learnt, whatever else. but thats just so insanely fun!! i wanna make so many new friends, and if i get permission to go, i ll be going with one of my best friends, ayesha, so itll be epic. and its ireland for gods sake, ireland!! eeeeep! i cant waaaiiit!

i just really really reaaalllly hope i get permission to go…

i mean, isnt it like destiny? its just so perfect…and ive always wanted to go to ireland! so i really am trying to win my dad over in letting me go…lets see how that works out.

i even dreamed about it! yeah, even my subconscious is telling me to hurry up and get on that plane…

now i need to work on my irish accent even more =) might i just add that, i have made progress on that, btw. but i sort of require (..desperately) to use either the word lassy or laddy to pull it off though. its just a psychological thing with me, so yeaaah. a little more practice needed there….

ok, one last post about my dream in ireland, and THEN i studying for my lit test tmrw=P
