Ze Wedding Present of Mr. & Mrs. Crayon

I started typing out a post all about Kiran’s wedding, I swear, but so much happened that night that it’s still not up ^_^;

Just like I’ve been busy since her wedding, I’d been super busy before it too with work and all. So I never managed to make her half trolling half cute wedding gift- until now :3

Now, for some context: Kiran had been dubbed Turquoise Crayon before I met her by the wonderful Pharoh Ayah, but everyone in our gang called her that and new it was her official nickname. So when Queenie got engaged, there was a heated debate as to what Mr. Kiran was going to be called. Would he be an Orange Crayon? A green one? A purple one??

Finally, we agreed that he shall henceforth be known as Mr. Purple Crayon.

Which is why I thought to craft this little giftie :3

I started on it Thursday, and I finished it up today~ I’m pretty happy with it, even though I didn’t like it for a while during the actual crafting project. Oh the struggles of creating art 😛

I gathered supplies when I went to get new notebooks for school- and also got a damn golden glue gun because I’m fab like that~

I knew I’d glue a purple crayon and a turquoise crayon to the front of a picture frame with a house in the back and stuff, but once I started the project I decided to give Adil a tie and then I wanted to put Queenie in a wedding dress- so this happened xD

I like the amount of sunshine in this, so excuse how it’s just a random snap 😛

She’s going to laugh so much seeing this xD And she might hate me too, but it’s okay~ If she decides to get revenge on my wedding- which she definitely will- I can’t wait to see what she comes up with ;D

Nothing says congrats on getting married like personified crayons after all ❤

Orange (Anime) Update: Ep 8 (and Optimism about Shokugeki no Souma 2)

[Spoiler Alert]

It was bad enough they gave poor Suwa a letter, but now they’re lame enough to have EVERY PERSON IN THEIR GROUP get one too?! Are you bloody kidding me?!! It was impossible enough that the stupidest girl in the group somehow accomplished time travel to send a letter back in time, but now they did it three more times (in addition to Suwa)?!! UGH this show is just- I don’t even know On the other hand, it’s still alright ish.

Let’s also ignore how Kakeru is stupid enough to think that by somehow NOT dating Naho, he’s making it impossible for himself to hurt her. Uhhh that’s not how it works “Have fun without hurting her feelings”. What, you think by acting like a couple and yet not being one is somehow going to stop her from feeling pain if you are stupid enough to get roped into some more of that first gf of yours’ drama? Geeeez.

So uh yeah. However, Shokugeki no Souma: Ni no Sara is going brilliantly ❤ The only slight issue I have with that was Takumi’s loss against stupid gangster imitator thug >.> But they did have him kinda make up for it by handing his mezzaluna to Souma until he can win it back was super cool ❤ And funny when Souma went, “See, true chef’s are total sore losers” xD

MovieReview (but not really): Suicide Squad

After a lot of rescheduling, Zahra and I finally went to watch this movie as late as today xD

It was pretty good for a chill person that just wanted to watch a super hero movie. In all honesty, it was pretty true to what most people said about it- how it was a disappointment. I mean, The Joker didn’t get anyyyy screen time. He also wasn’t the REAL Joker to me cuz he was so in love with Harley Quinn and that is NOT what the real Joker was. Otherwise, Harley Quinn was surprisingly my favourite character. She was funny and totally crazy. She was amusing.

HOWEVER, WILL SMITH THOUGH. Like, I don’t at all know anything about this Deadshot character, but damn, the movie totally was focused more on him than any other character. Including the Enchantress. I feel like they could’ve done more with the conflict and developed it more, but naaah.

Again, it’s not a bad movie, but it totally isn’t a good super hero one either. It’s worth a watch if you’re okay with treating these characters as not the real Joker etc., but otherwise, it’s not worth a second watch. Meh.

Zahra and I had fun though, so all’s good :3

BU MSA hosted Pool Party

Last I went swimming was the amaaaazing all night ICNY girls sports complex facility thing in what was it the beginning of Summer? The Spring break?? Something like that. It was bloody brilliant. I realized how much I missed swimming and had been thinking and plotting how to get away with swimming at uni once my schedule allowed for it.

Well, after today’s pool party, my mind was made up to get to it- secretly of course, but to do it nonetheless.

I’d bought a new costume for this, (and for my secret swimming on campus shhh) and I got really excited when even the fb event page encouraged people to wear their costumes cuz there were absolutely no guys and it was perfectly private.

It was damn awesome. Hiba’s house was beauuutiful mA, and the pool was amazing for one in her backyard. It wasn’t a swimming pool with lanes or anything like that, but I wasn’t expecting that at all. (One can dream though ❤ ) It was an irregular shape, but it was 10 ft deep throughout the entiiiire pool *O* (minus this tiny shallow area where there were the steps leading into the pool) I even got to cannon ball into it- it was brilliant ❤

I swam most of the two hours I was there and had an absolute blast, even though I went with Hadia and didn’t know anyone there. It was still fun ^_^

…Now to go finish my chlorine soaked laundry and to plot sneaking my costume to campus when I go xD
